RECA NORM GmbH & Co. KG emerged from an association of the previously independent screw traders Detmering KG, Hans Zander KG, Schrauben Listl, Schrauben Müller and Schrauben Schmid in 1981. The establishing of the corporate headquarters in Kupferzell was completed in 1986. Service depots and branch stores were established to support our direct sales philosophy. The number of sales representatives is continuously increased year on year. New in 1993 is the reca Power Product strategy: A program directly tailored to the needs of our customers with the product benefits of top quality reca Power Products. In 1995, the company takes up its activities in the new premises of the corporate headquarters with state-of-the-art logistics and communication systems. Meanwhile, reca international became a European player, also supplying products to customers outside of Germany from the central warehouse in Kupferzell. Backed up by a healthy growth, the globalisation of the enterprise has intensified. The incorporation of additional companies makes a reorganisation of the market development necessary. International sales divisions and responsibilities have been established: The "reca Group" now functions as the umbrella organisation for the following brands: • "reca", for the trade • "NORMFEST", for the automotive sector • "SCAR", for the cargo sector • "Specialists", various companies with a strongly specialised product portfolio. Today, the reca Group with its 40 companies conducts business in 23 countries, since 2004 also in China
